Could you possible wear it for paintball?

Fingers crossed!

Hardly. The mineral glass is unsafe for eyes in case of beibg broken by a ball in strikeball, and the leather is not really washable for paintball.

Would it be plausible to slim down the leather so there are less cracks and lines to clean and to get a different type of glass?

Well, cracks and lines look great, I think. Cleaning is not hard at all, unless you dive in a dirt-pool wearing it. )
And for glass - why to change the current ones, what's wrong with them for your taste?

You said Mineral glass is harmful to eyes in case of being broken. I was wondering if it would be feasible to get a different type to make it safe for paintball.
